...that is ALSO compatible with the TRD Pro front skid plate.

Several I've seen are almost perfect except then they say they aren't compatible with my $400 front skid and I'm not going to buy a new one just to use their bumper no matter how perfect it is (ARB I'm looking at you...)

Anyone else know of any others? I want full coverage not just tubes.

Thank you for responding. I need to clarify: I have a 2019 TRD Sport and replaced the OE flimsy aluminum guard with a real thick aluminum TRD Pro skid plate ordered from the dealer. Is that what you refer to as the "OE skid plate" in your response? Also, when you say you provide a "replacement" does that mean it is a full skid plate? I also have transmission and transfer case skid plates from RCI that bolt to the TRD Pro front skid plate, does your "replacement" work with them?

Yes, this goes for either Toyota skid plate. If the TRD Pro skid plate is REQUIRED for the RCI system then you may not be able to use them. We provide a skid plate to protect under the bumper.

That's weird they didn't give you an explanation as to why it wont work.
Talking about RCI, does their full hoop bumper not do it for you? I'm running one of those and it fit fine with the stock OR skid, don't see why it wouldn't work with a pro.

I really like my CBI because I wanted aluminum for the weight savings but it's also available in steel.
It fits with the pro skid just fine.

Browse the compete front bumper thread for options. Should also sell your overpriced splash guard and buy a real skid plate anyway.

Thought I'd share an email from RCI that has convinced me to go with them, you should expand and read through it below. Note the upcoming sale! I had asked about aluminum. They included the installation steps because their PDF leaves a lot to be desired.

Hi ,

Thank you so much for your continued support!
Currently we only offer our front bumper in 3/16" steel, but it only weighs about 112lbs. Our bumper is compatible with the TRD engine skid plate and will bolt up without any modification necessary to the bumper or the skid plate.
Lead times for bumpers are currently only 6-10 weeks (1 1/2mo-2mo) with most bumpers completed towards the earlier portion of that lead time.
We are currently working on revising and updating our bumper install guide, but below are the steps necessary to install as well as some attached pictures.

1. From underneath the truck, unplug the connector on the back side of your fog lights.
2. Using a 17mm and a 12mm Socket, remove your skid plate mounting bolts (x6), then remove the skid plate.
3. Using a 10mm Socket, remove the lower Bumper Bolts (x6)
4. If your vehicle has fender flares, use a 10mm Socket to remove the fender flare bolts along the inside of your wheel well (6 per side).
5. Release enough of the plastic clips holding your fender flare on to be able to pull it back out of your way. You may remove this flare completely if you desire, but it is not necessary.
6. The next few steps will cover how to measure and cut your OEM bumper. First, follow the bodyline just above your fog light. Measure from the bottom of the radius of this bodyline 2 7/8" downwards.
7. Find the union between the fender and the bumper.
8. Follow the body line at the top of the fog light pocket.
9. Join these three points together to form a line.
10. When you cut this line, leave about 1/4" of material to ensure you do not cut off too much material.
11. Repeat Steps 6-10 on the other side of the vehicle. Then, pull the OEM bumper off the vehicle. Release the series of plastic clips holding the black plastic insert onto the grille as you pull the bumper off so that it will come off with the bumper.
12. Remove the black plastic impact damper by releasing its plastic clips and pulling it off the vehicle.
13. Using a 14mm Socket, remove the aluminum bumper mounting bolts (x6). Then, remove the aluminum bumper.
14. Using a 14mm Socket, remove the bumper bracket mounting nuts (x6). Then, remove the bumper mounting brackets. Save these nuts for reuse.
15. Using a 17mm Socket, remove the passenger side tow hook mounting bolts (x2). Then, remove the tow hook.
16. Using a 14mm Socket, remove the driver side bolt for the power steering cooler
17. Install the supplied power steering cooler bracket. Do this by first bolting the bracket to the stock cooler location using the OEM bolt. Then, bolt the cooler to the supplied bracket using the supplied 3/8" Bolt, Washer, and Nut.
18. Using a utility knife or a cutoff wheel, cut your inner fender liner, following the steel body lines in front of the fender liner. Or you can wait until the bumper is installed and cut after to your desired appearance.
19. If you have a winch or lights to install, now is a good time to do so. For light mounting/wiring information, refer to the light manufacturer's installation guide.
20. Set the bumper in place on your truck to measure and cut any final cuts you may have to make to your OEM bumper to get it to line up evenly with your new bumper (this is why we had you leave extra material when you made the initial cut). Also, cut the fender flare (if applicable) flush with the bumper cut you just made
21. Set the bumper in place and secure it using the nuts you removed in Step 14. Leave these nuts loose for now.
22. Line the bumper up so that it is centered left to right and sits straight in relation to the vehicle's grille. Then, tighten all mounting bolts to factory torque spec.
23. If you are using a front engine skid plate, you may install that now by reversing Step 2

We do plan on having a tax sale launch within the next few days that will be 15% off, so I would definitely take advantage of that when placing an order for your bumper.

RCI got me with their customer service as well. If you are going to be doing any heavy winching you may want to consider these frame supports https://c4fabrication.com/collectio...nt-bumper-frame-support-brackets-3rd-gen-2016 . I have them on my RCI bumper and they fit no problem.
