I have a similar request, but would like to find a shop in the San Diego area to install an OME lift kit on a 2015 Taco. Any suggestions? Lomita is two hours and Monrovia is about three hours one way. (Yes, I know that seems too long. I make the trip every 6 to 8 weeks and RT of 6 hours is pretty common on a Saturday no less.)

You could do it yourself. For the price you pay for labor you can spend it on tools if you dont have them and then have those tools forever. I just did mine today. It sucked but saved coin, the hardest part is removing the front shocks and installing the new ones. I did it solo and it took me 5 hours ish. Im sore sure but nothing coors light and muscle relaxers cant fix... cheers

@Speed Freek is very close to you in Vista and will do it cheaper than any shop. Or like @Beer-toe said you can do it yourself. Hardest part if your going full kit is UCA’s (if you don’t get new through bolts) and rear leaf springs. I’m taking some stuff to @Speed Freek this week as I don’t know jack shit about electrical so hoping to pay to watch then be able to do it myself there after.

@Speed Freek does an excellent job and he is priced pretty well. He has done hundreds, if not thousands, of suspension installs and he does things the right way! North County SD (Vista).

Thanks guys!! PM me if I can help, like said I have done several hundred lifts on Tacomas alone. And I can save you some coin while getting it right the first time.

Ryan @Shmellmopwho is a great choice, his work is awesome. I purchased his sliders and he installed them too. I already ’tested’ them by accident on a trail in Death Valley a couple weeks ago when my front right tire went down off a ledge with a big thud and left a couple scratches on the bottom of the slider bar with no deflection. Ryan works hard and has great prices, too. Say hi to his dog for me if you end up there!

I have also heard really good reviews about Jason’s (@Speed Freek) work. Besides suspension installs, he also does exhast reroutes in San Diego County too.
