I am in the market for a folding hard cover and have zeroed in on the two covers in the title. The only issue stopping me from ordering one or the other is:

    • The MX4 scratches easily
    • I lose the bed rail with the Armor Flex

Is there an option out there similar to these two, but one that has both a durable coating and relocates the original bed rail?

It looks like the Bakflip F1 is the closest thing I've found to meeting my needs. I would prefer an aluminum top like the Mx4 that is coated like the Armor Flex, simply for weight reasons. Can anyone with the F1 comment on how much heavier it is?

I'm looking at these same two covers and also wish the MX4 had the LineX coating. This feature is steering me toward the Armor Flex because I've never had a truck with the rails and won't know what I'm missing. Not really sure why I'd need the rails.
