Oh,,,,it was a joke. Nevermind :D My original post was just to say a conversion happened, not that it was correct or not. Appreciate the time you took to do all the ciphering.

These are the only wipers I've tried that don't skip or miss part of the windshield at the bottom. They have a better arm that actually conforms to the windshield. Refillable. Two years in, so far so good.

The oem set from my 2014 lasted me 2 years easily. I tried some aftermarket ones but was unimpressed with the longevity so I then bought Toyota ones from eBay. The wipers I got from eBay came in Toyota packaging but didn’t last nearly as long as the originals. Interestingly my original oem units had “Aisin” stamped on the frame, the ones I bought from eBay did not.

The 2012 Tacoma I just bought came with some Anco trash. I bought complete Toyota blades. Now when I replace them, I only have to buy the rubber inserts.
Did the same thing on my last two cars, a 2009 Lexus ES350 and a 2005 Toyota Corolla. Nothing is better than factory.

I had to replace one of mine as it was bent. If I remember correctly, it was about $55 and it resolved the issues I was having.......

These aftermarket companies are just doing yall a huge disservice by selling those crap arms with rubber on them. This shit should be common sense by now. Look at the plastic arm and ask yourself if it's just a shiny pos. The reason it costs so much is because these scum suckers have to make a product for Starbucks coffee drinking, cigarette smoking consumers. Keep buying this crap, even my weathertech mats are made like shit, it's just a logo sell.
Keep the system a float and buy throw away products made of plastic.

    Was a nerve struck??.....
Wipers seem to be a product that consumers reviews are all over the charts. There are many variables that effect product quality, customer satisfaction and service life. For many, the OEM inserts work great but there are others who enjoy some of the aftermarket blades. This is an arena where everyone's mileage will vary. I don't believe there's any reason to get one's knickers in a twist.....

The complete wiper blades were about $50 for the pair. The OEM blades, not the "Sightline" blades. I wont use those either.

Makes me laugh when people replace their factory blades with something aftermarket because the factory blades don't work.
They don't work because they are worn out, they are not supposed to last the life of the car. You should replace them every year or 15,000.
I'll gladly replace rubber inserts for $10 when I need to and stop trying to find a "good" wiper blade.

Bosch Icons in the winter, OEM in the summer. I buy the OEM refills. I get 2-3 years out of both, I drive around 20,000.00 miles a year. RainEx washer fluid, the sun, salt, bugs and dust is hard on them. I like a clean, clear windshield.

    The flip side....
Sometimes there are circumstances that might require replacing both wiper blades. In my case, for some unknown reason, our 12' had 2 different blades. I'm OCD and I replaced them with Silblades. I've had great luck with them (some folks haven't) and they lasted 4-5 years at 20,000 miles per year in nasty upstate NY weather. Cost $35-$40. If I had OEM blades and replaced just the inserts yearly, it would be somewhere around $60plus (assuming $15 per pair of inserts & shipping) during that same time....

This works for me because I live in a rural area and the nearest Toyota dealer is a 60 mile round trip. It's not practical and economical to buy them not so locally. The flip side is to buy them online and pay the shipping. FWIW....

My last set of Bosch Blades lasted over 2 years then I replaced them with some different type of Trico Blades that started chattering and smearing in less then a year. Back to Bosch blades for me!

You mean two different length blades? That's normal, driver side is longer.
