    Hey Everybody,

I am working out in Western Alaska and ordering parts to rebuild most of a 2001 tacoma engine. Normally when I an working on them I like to have some spare flange 10 and 12 mm nuts and bolts. I havent had good luck going to the auto parts stores to get them and was just going to order some online. BUT being that I am out in bum fuck Alaska I dont have any of the nuts or bolts out here to measure the size and thread.

Does anybody know off hand of the nuts and bolts are coarse thread? I was looking at M6 and M8 but im not sure if I need M6x1.0 or M6x1.25

    Heres what im looking at:

    https://www.belmetric.com/flat-bott...p-13906.html?zenid=bekb2kvvpa6gtgn4fe2ll0c2g1

    https://www.belmetric.com/flat-bott...p-12645.html?zenid=bekb2kvvpa6gtgn4fe2ll0c2g1

On another note, does anybody know the best place where you can get flange nut and bolts like these locally? I havent had any luck at Autozone and I dont recall seeing what I wanted at Napa either. Last time I went in I remember only seeing bulkier bolts that were not flanged

    Thanks!

Welcome. I grew up on Kodiak.

True Value & Ace hardware always seem to have the best selection for nuts & bolts.

    Most bolts on Toyota's are 1.25, & a few 1.5.

I have nearly every bolt from a complete 04 in a bucket in my storage.

Yeah ill have to give True Value a try and see if they have the ones I want. I just like having the nuts and bolts that match what came off of the engine.
Kodiak beats Bethel out hands down! I live in Anchorage when im not working
