    When my dad asked the dealer about it they said it would void his warranty if we installed it...:notsure:...

    I may have not made my comment clear. Your powertrain warranty will always be there. If the dealership installs an unauthorized part (such as the supercharger from ebay), and that part fails or causes a failure, you are not warrantied on the part or repair. The dealership that did the install
    is under no obligation to provide additional warranty just because they did the original work.

    Can they verify where you got the part? If it is a legitimate TRD part that is... I really don't know how that works.

    The dealership here asked to see the receipt.
    When you buy a supercharger apparently they can also add
    it to your vehicle history.

    Yeah I sent them three messages and got no reply as you did. I actually would have bought it but figured if they were going to be that way then screw em' !

    why don't you guys that are so worried about this warranty issue just trade trucks with me so you don't have to have all this warranty-related stress. Mine has around 90k!
