Slimline metal winch bumper and Smitty X20 10k winch about $1200 total is the cheapest.

I have the BA 4x4 slimline front end...it looks like every other minimalist front winch bumper but it was amazingly simple to put on, I was shocked cause I thought it sounded way more intimidating than a handful of bolts. The only cutting was the small black plastic lower valence piece took maybe 2 hours and I should have wired the winch before I put it on but I didn't have my specific wiring needs yet figured out.

I put an Engo XRS10 winch on it. The solenoid hits the small cross member support because it is a clone of the Warn Zeon series but its super easy to relocate and wire. I wired the winch when it was already mounted and the bumper installed...but I loosened the bolts so I could move the winch around and get to things easier. I would recommend at least getting the primary wires/ground all attached to the winch before putting the bumper on...cause that is also what common sense and the instructions would dictate, I just ignored both. The Engo isn't really intended for a hidden winch application but I have found i can spin the clutch by reaching through the grill or down from the top of the radiator shroud....neither are fun but there are plenty of easy solutions to that problem I think.

I haven't needed to use the winch yet in a real world application, just testing it out in my driveway but I am super impressed by the bumper and winch. Both were on the cheaper side of the spectrum and still competitive with high end stuff in my opinion.
