    Hi, I actually do not have a Tacoma, I hope that doesn't exclude me. I want to buy one that I can put a cab on and I can sleep in, I am 6' all the beds I see are shorter than me. I also want to cross country from Philadelphia in the winter, stop in CO and Montana, so good tires and 4x4. I will be borrowing from the bank. I just see the range and I am getting more and more unsure.

    I'm 6 foot tall and fit standard box on access cab. With the carpet type bed mat and a egg crate foam type bed topper I cut to fit, under the camper shell in sleeping bag it's quite cozy. I just roll the egg crate thing up and stuff it in a large garbage bag when not in use.
