Just going to leave this here...

The red top is the Miata 1.8l motor, the other is an LS.

It brings a whole new understanding to the term "death trap".

Well balanced, well mannered, daily driver reliable. Great mpg, great fun.

And no the weight isn't all wonky. Less than adding armor bumper to a Tacoma. So a trip to a corner weight scales will fix it right up.

If I had 40 large to drop on a ride, it would be on one of these, not a Pro. Yeah, I know they are different purposes. But I can solve my truck 'needs' for a whole lot less $.

And being on the supercar ladder, even the bottom rung, for 40k, is a whole bunch o fun!

I've seen a LS3 T56 swaped Miata with a Ford 9"rear diff chopped and tubed truck to fit 335's they are wicked machines.

Greatest thing is the weight distribution only goes from 50/50 to 56/44, it's still an extremely well balanced car that can burn rubber in any gear at any speed it seems.

Only problem is from the outside, you're still driving a miata.

Which isn't all bad with just a bit of attention to detail. At least IMHO.

Yep, that was mine. No v8, but I toasted a few in other marquees at autox. :D

Says a lot about compactness of the LS, one of the benefits of retaining the pushrod design.
