Uhhh yeah, do not go with 35" tires with a 2.5" lift!!! That will not work out at all. Even with a 6" lift there is some good trimming you have to do!! Like they said, you should be able to go with 32"-33"s with some moderate trimming. What about your rear? Remember, the 5100's for the rear do not provide any lift. Look into getting some AAL's for the rear.;)

Just save enough to do it all at once. It will save you some head ache. Do it right the first time.

you have over 1400 posts and you dont know how to use the search? this topic has been covered so many times its annoying... you have to trim with 33's on a 3" lift, so no doubt your gonna trim with only 2.5" lift. do some research bro.

I think you're all a little cruel... James--there's a tire size calculator in the tech section here--use it and you'll learn all about tire sizes. Google works well too. About the biggest you can go with stock or near stock suspension (like 5100s) is 265/75/r16.

My truck came with 285/60/18 NTGs with no lift. 31.5x11.5 on 18x9s. The mudflaps had been removed, bottom corner of flare trimmed a bit and they touched frame at full turn. I now have 2.5 lift front, 1.5 AAL in back & LR UCAs. I have 275/65/18 Duratracs (32x11)mounted on the same 18x9 rims (not sure of offset but nothing crazy). I had to trim and tuck the little plastic box part that hangs down in front of each wheel well, still leave off the mudflaps, but now it doesn't touch frame or anywhere else. Not using wheel spacers of any kind. Stay reasonable with your goals, research a lot & go for it. I'm sure there are several ways to run 32s with 2.5 lift and have no rubbing with minimal trimming. Here's a pic of how it sat when I got it..........

265/75/16 is the biggest you can do w/o lift.

People have told you plenty of times what tires... do you pay attention to ANYTHING people say?

If you mean what brand that's completely up to you.. you've got a brain right? Well use it and do some research for what is the best tire for you...
