Hey all! Been a while :)

I’m looking into installing a new grill for my sr5. I’m looking into and forgive me because I’m not sure if this is a good way to explain it but it’s a TRD grill, it still has the Toyota emblem (not the word) on it and it’s like a honey comb look. I’d like it in black.

Any suggestions? I don’t want to recalibrate my sensor so hoping it’s plug and play. Let me know :)

I thought they all are black? Hm. I don’t want to spray paint mine because it’s just a boring sr5 that’s why I’d li replace it with an off road.

Whatever you decide, I would set aside an extra $200 for a PCS re-calibration. Just be advised .....

    Good luck!

There are a lot on Facebook marketplace from people selling them after buying a TRD grille. I just bought a used one.

You don't need to recal the sensor in the grill. The TSS needs to get recal'ed when you replace your windshield though.

You should hopefully *not* need to recalibrate the PCS sensor in the grille. However, "hope" is not a technically correct planning strategy.

The PCS sensor is crazy sensitive. The slightest difference in the mounting location with a new or different grille could indeed require a re-calibration.

I should have been more clear.

If you say so. I've had 3 different grills and one sensor recall. Never had any one even mention a recalibration. Toyota did get pissy when I rolled in with a pro grill for the recall. Had to swap my OR grill back in for them to complete it.
