I posted this over in audio/video thread but I figured I would get more responses here faster.

I have an 07 access cab and was looking for a sound upgrade. I would like to replace the speakers in the doors and also get a sub that would fit under either the passenger or driver seat. What would be the best route to go. I am not a sound stickler so high quality sound is not necessary but would like a lil bit better than stock.

    Thanks,
    Matt

I recently bought a 2010 Taco Access cab and am in the same boat. So far, I have ordered Polk speakers off Crutchfield for the front doors. Still trying to figure out what to do about the little 'speakers' in the aft cab headliner. Looking for a head unit, leaning to a Pioneer but want the functionality of my wife's that she has in her car (navigation without going through a phone app, but don't want to pay and arm and a leg).

Several threads on here about stereos and replacing. Looks like one of the easier vehicles I have owned to get things apart.

I replaced my radio with a Pioneer app radio. Its not what you would be looking for though because it uses navi off of a phone. An yes it is very easy to replace the head unit. A flathead screwdriver and a 10mm ratchet will get the head unit it out in 5 min.
