I have a 5 speed single cab short bed 4x4 2.7L and it’s stock and I want to add more horsepower to it. I have been thinking in changing injectors, getting a cold air intake and a tuned chip...... if that’s a good idea which ones should I get????

I have LCE headers on my 4 banger among quite a few other things but that was the only real notable difference. That you have the 5 speed helps.

Most CAIs are actually hot air intakes and will hurt your power if anything haha. Not sure if the deckplate mod is possible for a 2nd gen but a lot of peeps like them on the 1st gens for a cheap kick. Good luck.
