Looking to be lower!!

Hey all, I'm new here although I signed up a while back. I'm from Alberta, Canada, have an 02 Tacoma 2wd with only 57K (thats right, about 35000 mi) on it, truck is originally from New Mexico. Anyway, I'm 30 with a young family and going to Industrial Pre-trade school and living the unemployed life Yahh!

So if anyone could send me some tips on lowering cheap as possible (I'm a fairly hands on guy) until I can afford a kit and maybe how to get better gas mileage that would be awesome, also anything else is cool too!

And let me know if I'm asking questions in the wrong place on here. So cool, and Thanks for any help! I look forward to getting into the swing here and learning new stuff.
