So what were the problems with the 2015 V6 4x4 crewcabs????

Not much. I consider them among the best years of the Tacomas.

Welcome to TW! No problems that I’m aware of. I have a 2014 DCLB V6 4x4, been driving it for 6 1/2 years with no issues. If you live in the salt belt, just take care of the frame and you should be good.

That’s exactly what I have and absolutely love it. Feel free to ask specific questions if you have any.

The bad list for 2015 is pretty short.

If I were to nitpick: cabin noise, older feeling interior/electronics and driving position can be uncomfortable on long rides.

Great year, reliable, excellent daily driver, fun, and super useful without feeling oversized or having too much plastic and tech to fail.

Gen 2.5 is the best gen. More modern interior and facelift but didn't get the shittier 3.5 motor.

    2012-2015.
