Ridegeline owners water it down because it's too strong.

I love my 2016 SR5 access I4 . I had one complaint , if you want to tow something get one with factory towing package.
I traded in my 2006 Tundra TRD and I miss the V8.

I had a a 1998 Tacoma SR5 with 4x4 and 252k miles for my first truck and for 5K it was a good truck, i had it for a few months before i got my 2015 TRD Pro and i have had no problems with it and its 12k miles. But thats not a 2017. However I've seen no decrease in quality

I highly recommend a '17. I traded a '14 TRD Sport for it. I loved the '14, but this is just a "little more" in every way...including price. But the residual/resale is up too, so that's a wash. I've got less than 1000 miles on it, so my experience could change. But it is a great truck so far.

A new bolt here, a new bolt there, a new bolt everywhere.
16,000 miles on my truck and aside from excessively aggressive LT Radials I love my '16.

    Do it.

I've owned many vehicles in my time and my 17' TRDOR in a double cab 4x4 has got to be the best purchasing decision I've ever made!

    Not a single complaint.

How many 3rd gens have you had now? :D

By the way, I went by my local dealer to get a rubber cargo mat for my 4Runner and guess what is parked out front? A gorgeous white Tacoma TRD PRO.

If it had a moonroof, I would have bought it.

Going from a V8 to a I4... I don't think that factory towing package is going to help any.

Got my new 2017 TRD Off Road, 4x4 white, V6 AT, DCSB three weeks ago, 1200 miles on it, perfect so far, love it, no issues. Paid $37k out the door which included registration , all fees and 6% Michigan tax. Got the 8 year / 100k extended warranty for $1200. My vote is buy it, love this truck. Get the towing package, has alot more than just a hitch and wiring, extra coolers, etc. I would suggest your drive the sport and they Off Road, both about the same price, the Sport puts the money in hood scoops, color matched wheel flares, etc, while the Off Road puts the money in better suspension, skid plates, and comes without the front air dam that everybody seems to remove anyway. The sport rides a bit better, but both are close and the Off Road is a good, quiet ride on pavement too. Off Road has move aggressive tires, while the Sport has pavement tires that belong on a Ridgeline , in my view. :) I drove both alot, and personally liked the look of the Sport hood scoop from outside the truck, but looking at it, and over it, while driving really bugged me, did not like the view from the cab at all, just my personal reaction to it. Sport has sunroof, Off Road does not, I did not want one. I read alot on this forum , and appears alot less glitches with the 2017 than the first year 3rd Gen 2016, maybe they fixed some stuff. Mine came with all the factory latest TSB updates. Again, 1200 miles, my truck is perfect, no vibrations, noise, or issues.

It's different, the sport is "more" road worthy, and the off road is so good it seems lots change it out any ways.
