I am currently a Jeep owner and I have had the same Jeep since I was 16 years old. Lately Taco's have been catching my Eye and I am going to buy one once I pay off my Harley this month. If I were to post a link with a list of Tacomas for sale, would anyone care to chime in on which they would pick and why?

What you looking to do with it? You need 4 wheel drive? Being a jeep guy is this going to be your daily driver?

You will never own another Jeep once you get a Tacoma. Just check it for rust. I have also spanked a few 4.0 jeeps with my 2.7 4cyl.:)
If you want a 4x4 dont buy a PreRunner model by mistake.

Ok avoid the pre runners then. Shit let me look again at the page. I forgot which I was looking at. But like stated above look out for frame rust and check the car fax. There was a white sr5 towards the bottom that looked a little cheap for mileage. (Raises some red flags to me)

Don't doubt it! 4.0's are only good for pulling stumps, haha.

So I see tacomas all day with well over 200k.

At what mileage should I stay away from when buying used taco.

**I bought my Cherokee with 240k and now has 290k**

Don't think you need the locking rear axle so would not make that a deal breaker.
I have never gotten stuck with my 2003 4x4 and have been in some harry places.
I heard that the 2nd generation, beginning in 2005, they went to a different frame/body construction or something that sacrificed quality.
If you are comparing 1st and 2nd generations you might inquire about that.
