Looking to buy an m&p 15-22

I been looking to buy a m&p 15-22 here in central california, but the ones I've able to find they want retail for them and I don't know if I should go for it or wait to see if I can find a cheaper one. It's model 811062 and it's for $519. What do you guys think?

 

I have an M&P 15 (556). Its a great gun. I like me ruger 10/22. They are cheap and have been around a very long time. I have mine in a asault rifle stock. Over 500 bucks for a 22 seems like alot, but gun prices are up because demand is up.

 

Yea. I know demand is way up I looked for it in 5 different places and I was able to find it in only one place. I seen em only for $450, but the dealer charge an extra $60 to recieve it. So there's really not an advantage to getting it online. All other suggestions are welcome
