The suspension can be fixed easily enough. Get rid of the spacer lift and get some 5100's for the time being. Once you recover from purchasing the truck you can than get some mid travel icon/fox/ads/etc lift. Is the rest of the truck in good shape?

Seems to be. It is a 2 hour drive so I have not seen it in person. The price is higher than I want but I will see if I can bring that back into reality.

Whoever put the spacers in just didn't pay attention to how that isolator was. Says something about the mechanic but isn't harmful to the truck.

The lift was done by the previous owner. The current owner has put about 10k on it. What do I need to watch out for. I ran across a thread at one point mentioning a transfer case drop for anything over 1.5. Is that correct?

85k on this one, 4x4. So there are no long term issues with this lift? The owner said he bought it and did not know it had a lift. So he knows nothing about it.

I think you mean differential drop, but they are mostly useless on the 2nd gens and only are for 4x4 anyway. We dont know a lot about this truck from one picture, but by the looks of it its got a spacer lift and that rubber isolator just needs to be replaced when/if you do anything to the suspension. It shouldnt affect the truck for the time being. Before you buy, I'd spend the $100 or so to have a mechanic check out the truck for you.
