It’ll be hard to get that low on any 3rd Gen. But, maybe an SR 4Cyl 2WD if they make it, wouldn’t be much fun.

If you spend more, you can get a new or newish Sport or OR V6 4WD for $30k

No one is getting a new OR 4WD for $30k

    Add 6-8k to that.

Yeah, I said newish and if you want a LB access cab MT only comes in Sport which you’ll find for $30k with some negotiation.

My AC LB TRD OR 4X4 M/T was built in Texas for the Canadian market and came with Goodyear Wrangler Adventurer kevlar tires that are stamped "made in Canada". M/Ts are something like $1500Cdn cheaper than A/T, in Canada. In fact I think all Tacomas are cheaper to buy in Canada than the USA due to the weak Canadian dollar. If you do the math $30kUS is about $44kCdn. MSRP for my Taco was $43,740Cdn with dealer added dash cam, step bar, floor mats, Taxes and doc fee extra. Maybe the OP should buy a Canadian Taco.

You lucky Canadians, I have to spend $2000+ to install a locker and compressor because we can’t get your model here.
