You ready to spend $10K? Also, do you plan on keeping the truck? Is the truck paid off?

All are good questions you need to ask yourself. If you don't plan on keeping the truck, ditch the idea of long travel. It would be hard to sell outside of California. I have experienced many people in Utah who don't know what long travel is...

How extreme do you want to get? Mall crawling or whoop eating?

Not like extreme whoop eating but you know id like to cruise on trails but still have the ability to absorb most of that terrain

Aaaaaand.... here’s the question NOBODY here answers. What’s your budget? What’s your plan? Can you afford to do both front and rear at the same time? Front first, then rear? I’ll be honest, I don’t expect a reply, but this is THE single biggest question that you need to answer. Then, you can proceed or opt out...

I'd say keep your truck how it is, for the price of everything to build your truck, LT kit, coilover, bypasses, all the tube work, and I'm guessing your paying someone to do this and labor is not cheap, you can buy an already built truck. Find 1 that you like in the price range you can afford n have fun. Building 1 is a long process and ain't cheap

I mean i know how much it’s gonna take to get the front and rear done and with research I’ve done it every figured it should only cost around 13k which would include the tuning and rear installment, because i plan to do as much as i can to cut down on labor costs

    Just don’t.

you can make a Tacoma with some decent shocks handle most EVERYTHING people are going to throw at it. The ones who truly need LT are few and far between and the ones who actually use it are less.

Not all LT trucks are trailer queens. Mine is DD but I still have a somewhat stock truck. And most guys on here that are building their trucks have other vehicles.

Unless you have access to a shop, trying to fab in apartment parking lot is no go IMO. I use to live in apartment n hated doing oil changes n brake jobs.

Solo kit is bad ass. There’s a TON of options for the rear end. TC, Camburg, Solo, Giant or just piece it together yourself. There’s more options, just research it

Cause i was planning on doing total chaos or Camburg in the front but now that i know about having to do the SUA for the rear if i went with the solo i will prolly just go with TC or Camburg
