Ok so I went to a dealer and test drove a AT, I am not partial to one or the other and don't want to start that discussion.
But anyway, it looks like all things being equal, you lose the proximity keyless access and pushbutton start with a manual. I know you also lose all the off-road gadgetry. What else is the difference, not mechanically necessarily but creature comforts? Unfortunately I would just go in and compare them, but with COVID and manuals being extremely hard to come by it makes it extremely difficult. I figured I would ask here and maybe someone has already done the research.

One final thing, the dealer I went to said I could lease a trd sport MT for like $330 and if i wanted the same truck but off road it would be $430 a month, is it because the MT ORs are so rare?

I doubt I will use the rear locker much, i just want it as a just in case and a buddy of mine has a fj and he said he would bring me on some easier trails. maybe the sport would be a better option?

For your deliberation, I’m pretty sure there’s a plug and play remote start kit for the manuals now. A couple hundred bucks I think.

Very vague info on the two trucks .It’s up to you to decide what you can afford if your looking for financial advice .. considering that your leasing and not buying out the truck . It’s really up to you what u want . I personally would not do any off roading in a lease . So if it was me I would go for the sport .don’t want to sound like a dick but if your making a big purchase like this always do your research on the different models and what your needs are
