I have 174k miles on it so probably just replace the brake fluid. Also, are those something I have to order or do you think I could get them at like a local shop?

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
You'd probably have to order the brake lines from Headstrong or Wheelers.

Ugh okay, well then if I have to do that it looks like I'll have to wait on the lift.

Okay, I think I'd have to buy them sometime next week though. Am I going to need some new ones for the front too if I'm getting 3" of lift?

    Hey guys,

If I go pickup a set of extended break lines tomorrow is there anybody who thinks they could take a day or two of their weekend to install and bleed the break lines and then help me install my lift for a couple hundred bucks? If you've got the equiptment, know how to, and would be willing to lend a hand let me know.

Okay, thanks. And I don't want to sound stupid but do you know how to do all the break line stuff though? I really have no idea when it cames to that so I figured I'd ask.

If you watch youtube vids and just go for it you would be suprised. It really is not hard. I was always afraid until i went to tech school and wrenched on engines for hours and hour every week. It is all much more simple than people like to admit or make it look.

Like I have posted in my thread. 1- Members here don't mind helping others, just get in there and help and learn.
2- dont be a strange after where done, get involve with the crowd, help others, this all we ask.

The guys over here are great!!!

My first mod day, I posted in the 4runner form, no reply after a wk. I deleted the post.
1 guy from the bay sent a PM asking about my post. He needed help replacing a strut setup. I set up my 1st mod day in this form. He came and we helped.

I never heard from him afterwards, and no thanks on the T4R form for the help. All he did was post up, I got this new setup on my ride.
