Looking to purchase 1st Taco need help???

I have decided to get a '12 Taco Dbl cab 4x4 SB in White or Silver. I have not been able to find a TRD off road but drove a Sport today. I think the only thing I give up is the locker with the sport. It seems I get better road manners and loose the chrome... not such a bad thing.

This is my first 4x4 how much do the lockers help do those that have em, do use them much what would it take to add that capability? It seems the 4x4s are made of unobtainium here in SoCal

If im not mistaken the dbl cab 4x4 SB in trd off road is extremely rare in its own?..I have the locker in my prerunner, it makes a huge difference but nothing that an extra two wheels turning in the front couldnt fix. Plus wouldnt that one have ATRAC?

 

I am a total newbie... this my second post here. Shocks are different, and I read somewhere on TW that the sports were coming with the 4 leaf pack vs the 3 pack, plus the sales guy said the sport was a little softer than the off road.

Is it possible to easily add the locker to the Sport.

Getting closer, drove a 2012 silver TRD Dbl cab 4x4 tonight... I am so pumped came close to a deal but had to walk away. The dealer is trying to squeeze me on my trade. Honestly I want this thing so bad I almost caved.

Readingt TW is getting me more excited... kind of hurting my resolve
