I have a 2000 6cyl prerunner. My hoses are in really bad shape, error code and some intermittent surging makes me think a vacuum hose might be at fault.

Does anyone know the lengths and diameters I would need to replace all of the hoses?

I went to the dealer and bought most of the hoses, except the few that are straight runs. They are reasonably priced and you can't beat the fit.

The straight runs I took down to my local Napa for replacements. I was surprised that they don't offer all that many choices in vacuum lines.

When I do it again, OEM all the way.

suggest you just buy 10 feet of it and cut it all to size as you go. it's not expensive....

Need to do the same thing on mine... went by the dealer the other day and it would be close to 300 dollars to do it all oem.... so instead went with the platinum silicone hose kit off Amazon... by some rough calculations I should have enough with the 5 different metric sizes.... miuns the radiator...

Mtrsq, I was looking at silicon but CA smog sometimes fails cars because of that. I guess I can get black and risk it. Do you know the diameters of the kit?

Codeseven, do you know what diameter hoses I should buy? I am fine buying 10 feet of a bunch of hoses and just cutting it, but don't want to make a mistake on the wrong diameter hose causing an issue.

Mrfish27, what did it cost you for oem? I didn't even look because oem always meant more money than I have.

Yes, but do you know the diameters required? I was trying to find something that lists the diameters so I could he'd to the store and pick some up. But I can't find that documentation.

Part 90999-92003 is 600mm of the standard small Toyota vacuum hose. The larger sizes of vacuum hose, like for brake booster, etc., I'm not sure of.

if you buy actual vacuum hose, you CAN'T get the diameters wrong. vacuum hose material is so strong it wont affect anything. so long as it pops onto the tits you need them to go on, your good.

if you want to be sure. remove ALL of your vacuum lines and go tot he auto parts store and say, I need all this!

or you can just pop off every hose and measure the IDs of them with a tape measurer and tally each of them up along with lengths. but that might be too easy, so i dunno

Thanks for all the help everyone. I went to autozone and just mixed and matched till I got what I needed. I was real worried that the wrong diameter would cause problems, guess I didn't think that as long as it fits I would be OK.
