I'm thinking about selling my 96 taco. I had the engine rebuilt about 7500 miles back. My question is, when I go to sell my truck, should I put the mileage down as 7500 miles, due to the rebuilt engine or put the original engine mileage which is 152500 miles? I know some people have said put what you want but I want to sell my truck in good faith and not try to swindle someone out of their money. Thanks in advance for the responses.

It's going to be based off of your Odometer reading. If you read your title it will have a spot to fill it in. Whatever you do, don't check any box other than the one that say "reflects actual mileage" (and of course put the odo reading) once you do the truck will have a hit against its title and will be worth less. In your add just put the 150k and that the motor has been rebuilt XXX miles ago. Also get your paper work in order so you can prove it, otherwise it never happened.
