Pretty much all assemblies will get you close to 3" If you want. 5100's and 6112's are the most popular options and for good reason. Performance to dollar is exceptional. As recently displayed by the 5100 in shock value. I would recommend dropping the front to get some rake back the driving characteristics just feel better especially once loaded if you use your truck for truck stuff.
What are you running currently in the back it would be ideal to atleast try and match the valving style

The leveling kit came with 2 inch blocks that go on top of the leaf springs. Stock shock absorbers.

I'm not sure which shock is on the limited but I would assume to digressive valving on yhe bilsteins would match up fine regardless of it being the 4600 or the Hitachi.

I will probably get matching shock absorbers for the rear. Been looking at different 6112 kits. Preasembled ones are at 0 lift so that’s a no go. Have to find a shop to assemble them the way I want. What size spring should I get for 3” of lift?

I would reach out to a few of the vendors mentioned here I believe they will set you up with the appropriate coil and height setting. You can adjust the 6112 after the fact if you order it pre assembled just need a spring compressor or drop them off with a shop to be adjusted. Spring only matters if your using a lift spring besides that the perch is adjustable to achieve the desired lift height.

If I could do it over again, I'd get accutune Fox's, but that's big money. I've had 6112/5160s for a while and would not recommend for a daily driver. They can be pretty rough over road imperfections, expansion joints, etc, and only really start to move once you start hitting them harder. They do land small jumps/0 Gs pretty well, at least with my setup. I also only have about 1" of lift l. If you choose to go more then that, be prepared for some new drive line vibrations.

3/4 with 600lb springs (hidden winch and ARB skids), JBA UCA's, and icon rxt stage 1 on the rear with hammer hangers and extended brake lines. Super bumps all around. I'm at about 1" of lift all around.

I have found that on surfaces like washboard roads, you need to push past a certain speed to get them to free up and start moving. That speed has been considerably faster then what other vehicles are doing

Interesting, most of the reviews I've read were positive.

That's been my concern with digressive valving of bilstein/icon as i drive a ton of back roads. I'm still itching to try a set. Buddy just popped 8100's on his fj after having fox 2.5's on so I'm very curious to hear his thoughts on it. So far feedback has been really good.
Regardless of the issues I had with my 2.0 elkas they still rode amazing on washboard with the linear dampening, so I'm hoping for an increase in longevity and possibly ride quality with these 2.5's on it.

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
Interesting to hear. I'm considering running that setup as I do want my truck to be more stiff than the stock TRD Off-Road Bilstein shocks, but not overly stiff that it'll shake my fillings, as I drive my truck everyday.

Fox/ADS/Kings/Elka/Bilstein 8112/8100 combo are not out of the question, but I was thinking they may be overkill for what I want out of my truck. Hmmmm...

I replaced my block lift with the Eibach stage 1's, and it's so much better. I measured the block itself, and I think it was around 3", but I went with a 2" lift with the Eibachs, due to the fact that it's less harsh on the other components. I did find out when putting the lift on that I need to replace the rack and pinion and tie rods because of the block lift the previous owner put on. The stance looks about the same, so I'm happy with it.

I think they are a good value if you plan to do higher speed offroading, but they have the tradeoff of not being real comfortable for DD. The low speed stiffness does reduce body roll significantly, and if you have good roads, you may never notice the harshness I'm talking about.

Another thing to consider is my particular setup. I don't have a ton of lift, and do have huge bumpstops, so my compression travel from static ride height is limited and the bumps engage relatively early, though they are very soft. There is about 1.25" until they contact. That could be why (small) jumps and 0 G landings are extremely smooth (when the wheels have a chance to drop down before compression). That might also explain why I have to speed up and get the chassis floating over washboards, so the wheels can drop down without the chassis following them, effectively increasing the compression stroke. I dunno, I'm just spit balling some ideas here. Maybe another 1-2" of lift wouldn't make that much difference. I also seem to have very low rate springs. It seems like most people use 650's on the front and stage 2 on the back, especially with the added weight I have.

All that said, I have put a GoPro on my rear suspension and watched it move over potholes and imperfections, and it seems to have enough compression travel that it isn't bottoming out in those situations, so I am pretty convinced it is just the valving, and chose not to lift more or increase spring rates. I'm certainly open to other interpretations though.

Something else I'd consider if I could do it over again is OEM Pro foxes. I never personally experienced them but might be worth your look.

I thought maybe the top shelf 8100's were linear. If you can live with the DD harshness, compared to the TRD OR pillows, the 6112's are a good value. Also if your offroading preference is speed over crawling. Consider that you need some good sightlines to safely carry speed off-road. I don't often get a chance to open up the shock speed in SE Pennsylvania because of poor sightlines, but in and around Death Valley I was in heaven pretending my Taco was a little cut rate trophy truck. The whole setup was just the ticket out there.
