Anyone in the greater DFW area know of any good companies that are hiring?

I am relocating to DFW a week before Christmas on Palace Chase orders, going from Active Duty Air Force into the Reserves. I currently have a few applications in at Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems. I am an F-22A Raptor Crew Chief and am looking to parlay my military training and skills into an aviation career. If you all know of any openings I sure would appreciate a heads up. My family and I are concerned that I won't be able to land a solid job before the move.

    Thanks you guys,

    Wing

I am still looking for a decent gig in the greater DFW area. I will be located in the White Settlement region and am trying to find viable work. Although I have aviation skills, I am a plumber too. However, I hold zero Texas licenses or certificates. Send me a PM or throw down some links if you guys know of any good career opportunities.

    Thanks!

Have you looked at the USA.gov jobs website? Being a veteran you may want to look into being hired under VRA.

The Veterans readjustment act which will allow you to continue your federal service time. You buy back your military time and apply your active duty years towards your civilian service when you get ready to retire.

Many Vets separating from active duty are not aware of VRA. Maybe do yourself a favor and learn as much as you can about this benefit.

As a Vet, hired under VRA, it worked for me.

    Hope this helps.

GL, and thanks for your service.

Thanks for the reply David! You know, I'm on USAjobs.gov all the time. Unfortunately being a crew chief, there aren't many positions available that I'm even remotely qualified to do. At least, not lately anyway. I'm hoping to potentially get on full time with the Reserves but that might take awhile to get squared away. I'll just keep on looking and something is bound to stick out.
