    I dont care either way, but if it works for you than it is fantastic.
    I think I would shorten the skewers a bit, cuz I would poke something with them.

    I think you should make a smaller one for the right side, put the spare camper wheel on it, hook up the trailer and go relax! :cool:

    Yeah, I'm a lot about practicality, and having it at an angle like that and not on the outside of the bed looks kind of silly... filling that area with a gas can or jack like 09TacoLI said wouldn't be a bad idea.

    Props for the self-mod though, the lock is a great touch.

    The only problem with a tire under the truck is what do you do if you get a flat tire while out wheeling. That could be a real B*#@. You never know what kind of terrain you might be in.
