I can’t get over the polygonic ass. It’s like the new ridiculous eHummers; they look like the computer program file was corrupted and they hit submit anyway.

I'm a 2nd Gen guy slinking in here, but I generally like the front. I also like 3rd Gen body lines overall, coming from a 2.5. But now I can't unsee that one "dent" body line and the rear 3rd on the 4th.

Head on from front and back looks OK. I'm also a Pirate Mica stan, so the Bronze Oxide is a welcome sight.

Trailhunter spec also helps IMO. Maybe in 2030 I'll make the jump if the truck is still kicking lol.

I don’t think it looks terrible but does give Chevy/GMC vibes. That being said it will still outsell everything in the midsize segment as they always do. Most the people out there just care to have the latest and greatest. I will admit that I do love the simplicity of the 3rd Gen but when I get into a Mercedes or other car with a ton of features it sure it nice. So I’m sure the new interiors will grow on people and overtime people will wonder how they lived without that stuff for so long

But the gen 4 might look good lifted with nice tires and that giant air dam/chin strap removed.

I do however kinda like the air damn on my 3rd gen.

A bit Rav4 in the front, a bit Tundra in the rear, a bit Nissan Frontier all around. HP/TQ ratings are an improvement on the PRO trim, front seats look nice. Overall many of the "improvements" to the 4th gen Tacoma can be done with aftermarket parts on the 3rd gen Tacoma.

Not the biggest fan of the 3rd gen either. I won't be buying another Tacoma. :p

I'm not a huge fan of the 4th gen's flared out fender lines but the deal breaker for me is the longer wheelbase. Maybe it'll grow on me but it's probably going to take a while. Maybe I'll look at it again in about 5yrs. :anonymous:

    My thoughts:

The Third-Gen trucks look like, Trucks.
    Kinda like a V-Twin on a motorcycle - not some sport-model.

I think the Ford Ranger looks like a Truck too - got nice curb appeal.

Nissans look a bit boxy, as do the 4th Gen Tacomas.

I'd love to win the lotto so I could go out and buy up a few of the last 2023's and just set them in a garage someplace.

    I bought a 23 for a few reasons.
The announcement that the 24 would be a turbo 4. Not a fan of that at all.

The looks was another VERY strong point.
The artist rendition is ALWAYS better than the production vehicle. I saw that the fenders and grille were going to be over exaggerated Tundra designed. They just looked bad, like really bad.
had the tundra still had the stalling from a few years prior, or if I could find a clean little mouse unit, I would’ve bought one of those.

However, the 23 DCSB working out very well for us. I really like it.

I’m trying to give myself some time after 12 Tacomas and being here for the 3rd gen hate when that was released which grew on everyone. I will need to see one lifted and nicely modded. The front end isn’t bad and offroad trim makes the angles tolerable but it still just looks off to me in a majority of angles and not sure it will age as well. Not a fan of the interior at all or the rear, but with a kid on the way this will probably be my last Tacoma but also not a fan of the tundras unless they’re lifted.

Amen. I’m in industrial sales and knew I would be changing jobs with a great likelihood I could choose my own vehicle. My old employer had company cars (chev equinox). :(
I couldn’t wait to pull the trigger on a 23 DCSB 4x4 V6. It was built in November last year. Whew! Just in time!

Heard it from another guy, the term over styled seems to fit for the 4th. Excessive lines, boxed look and not enough curves. The enlarged tail lights and small back end is off balanced. Stock for stock the 3rd Gen easy takes in looks. Obviously a well lifted 4th gen with a set of nice wheels and tires would give it more appeal but still falls behind the 3rd gen in my opinion.
