I was waxing (NuFinish) my '11 and saw that the antenna mast was loose in the screw fitting in the fender. 30 sec. fix to tighten with a wrench. I have never had that happen on any vehicle before.

    FYI to check yours

Mine has done that several times. Last time I put some blue Loctite on it. Can't say yet how well that worked.

same here, and it seems to be a Toyota thing. Sienna minivan seems hell bent on losing its antenna, seems I have to tighten a couple of times a year. I've not opted for the red loctite option yet, at this point it's just a habit when checking other fluids/filters.

    I check mine frequently too.
I’d go blue loctite. If you ever try to remove it with red, and it breaks off, it is real hard metal.
Some people have had theirs break off and it’s a bear to get drilled out.

Yup, gets loose all the time. I just hand tighten it back and hit it again when I notice it.
