Reviving thread. Just bought a 2017 with this annoying issue. I’ve found that it’s on the seat rail. And seen a video of a guy fixing it on a totally different car, but I can’t find the parts needed on any Toyota site to order from. Does anyone have a clue of where I could find a rail assembly? Pretty sure it’s just the bushing in the back

I took my 2021 SR5 to the dealership early this month because I felt a little too much movement in my seat. Checked in with the service rep and I find out I have a recall on my truck.

they used loctite on the bolts and tightened things and my recall was done. There was still a little bit of play and dirty hand smudges on my front dome light area.

A few days ago I took the truck back and they could tell I was irritated but I was calm. Another Tacoma was compared to mine and I had too much play and a new seat frame has been ordered.
