I've had a 2017 TRD Sport for almost a year now and really love it. I've got 2 Boy Scouts and it's great for camping, mounting biking, kayaking etc. We were camping in NH last week and the road into the camping area was about a 1/2 mile of hard washboard. After about 2 or 3 trips along that stretch, I lost my entire dash cluster including the small info screen in the center. Assuming it was a fuse, I located the fuse panel under the dash and gave all the fuses a good solid push with my thumb. That was the trick and the odo, speedo, etc all came back to life. But now the check engine & trac off lights were on. While driving to breakfast the next morning, the trac off light went away, but the check engine light is still on. I don't want to waste time on a trip to the dealership, anyone know how to reset the check engine light?

    Thanks!

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
The shade tree way is to disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few minutes. You can also go to an auto parts store to have it scanned and reset (which I would recommend).

If you have an android based phone or tablet, one of the best investments I made was the Torque Pro app and a 15 dollar Bluetooth OBD 2 connector. Read and clear codes easily. I have helped a co worker diagnose his car, I have used it to find a misfire on one of my managers trucks, and I use it in my Dakota to get a digital Speedo readout along with digital temps.
