Loose window control panel

    I have a loose window and door lock panel. How do I fix it. I think that the screws might of came loose. But afraid to make it worse

    The switch assembly in the door panel does not screw in. If it's loose, one of the mounting tabs might have broken off. You can you-tube a video showing how to remove the switch panel to check it.

    I had this same problem a few years back, the whole assembly would make a 'tap' noise when my knee would bump it, bugged the hell out of me. I found a video showing how to remove it and put some small pieces of the soft part of Velcro (the loop side of hook and loop) on it on the tabs if I remember correctly. I used the self adhesive type to just kind of tighten it up in the hole.

    I did find out that the front mount broke where the screw is holding the plastic cover. I think I have fixed it.
