Just a bunch of old crap
Forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but I did some searches and hadn't seen these mentioned.

My '06 has some tired windshield wiper arm springs, and I've been debating replacing either the springs or the entire arms (having a hard time finding the springs). Even if I put new springs on, at highway speeds on a windy day, you can still get wiper lift and chatter.

So, I stumbled across SureWipe stainless steel wiper helper springs. They are a cheap and fast solution to wipers that just don't stay tight to the windshield anymore. They're also good for new wipers, especially in winter or in bad stormy conditions, as they add more pressure to your wiper blades against the glass. Anyways, I picked up a set of them to give them a try, and I'll be damned, they're stronger than I was expecting.

Here are the pics of the package. For 2nd gens, they recommended the Blue version. There's one other version, and a "universal" but these fit my '06 great. Easy install (see 2nd pic) and had them on in 2 minutes. There's also in install video on their website. They worked very well, and now my wipers really clean my windshield the way that I want. No more issues getting good clearance of water from my windshield at high speeds and with some nasty crosswinds we get out here in the desert.

Also, they allow you to still lift your wiper arms away from your windshield for cleaning and wiper replacement, and stay locked back.

They were only $15 shipped, and I had them in the mail in 5 days from Canada. Since I couldn't find replacement springs anywhere, and I didn't want to pay $90 for new arms, these were a cheap and better mod.
