    Aloha tacomaworld,
I heard some flapping under my truck today and took a look to see what's up. It appear a bracket has snapped off the body. In the meantime, i zip tied it to prevent it from banging around in transit and to prevent it from burning on exhaust pipe..anyone know what wire this is? Common problem? Should I just epoxy it back in place? Any help is much appreciated!

Need a pic with some kinda landmarks. But you're probably on the right track with the epoxy.

Mine did the same thing (I didn't even bother to explore what it is/does) but I cleaned it up nicely and used some JB Weld to put it back into position. Still holding up nicely after 2 years.

Yes it looks to be the parking brake cable. That black area looks like a hole in the panel to me.
