I also came from a 2011 f150 fx4 supercrew ecoboost fully loaded...$47,000. My f150 was a lot nicer luxury wise but it was in the shop all the time. My tacoma DC TRD offroad is much higher qulity built truck.

I own a service & delivery business (hence screen name) I purchase a lot of trucks. We put 50-60K miles a year on our trucks, sometimes more. So I'm in & out of them. I've basically come full circle, have had Chevy, Nissan, Ford's and started with Toyota, and now back with Toyota.

I know what you guys are saying, my KTM comes with factory Brembo's with drilled and slotted rotors. My Tacoma has steel drums in the back.

OP, that does suck but the problems will work themselves out.... Hopefully

In all fairness, OP has a strong point, the way my '83 S/A was built ,tho' smaller was a more solid feeling/driving truck, you could beat the hell out of it all day & it'd just cruise home just as straight & fresh as it left, on my 1st gen & most all the 2nd gens I've driven , you could beat the hell out of them in the same manner, & survive it but the trucks "Felt" like they'd had the shit beat out of them, things loosen up a little : lower ball joints & axle wrap for the 1st gens/ & flairs falling off on the trailside with the same axle wrapping weeny springs.. Point is, it was that kind of quality that put Toyota trucks on the high approval ratings that in some ways they've struggled to keep ever since 95.5 ....

Back in the late 60's-thru the 70's Datsun pickups were the shit, first mini truck 4x conversion was a jeep axle under a Datsun with good reason, they set the bar that Toyota chased ,caught , & surpased.. Wasn't until they dropped the Datsun trade name & went by Nissan (which it always was) that their quality slide down hill...

Sticker prices on GM, Ford, and Dodge trucks and cars are pure fiction.

My Yamaha FZ1 is faster than my Tacoma, so therefore my Tacoma sucks.

Can I have a bong hit please?
