I've got several small projects in mind, and since they all revolve around the side rails, I think I'll tackle them all at once. I'd appreciate help to keep me on track, if I'm about to go wrong.

Cover - I like the Access Lorado, and with the price from Truck Alterations on here, seems like a good option. It looks like I'll lose the use of the OEM cleats, but I can live with that. Chief question/complaint seems to be the gap between the cover and tailgate. The side rail caps (below) should fix that.

Yakima - I already have everything I need for the Yakima. I just want to revert from the railgrab to the landing pads I used on another vehicle. I think I'll head to the salvage yard and pull the roof tracks off an SUV. I can then attach them to the side rails for quick on/off when I need the rack.

Side rail caps - Before I crush the plastic caps and damage the rails, I think I'll add the KBVoodoo side rails. I can drill a few holes to allow me to attach the tracks for the Yakima with bolts and lock nuts, and not plus nuts. I get the bonus of dropping the side rails to the same height as the tailgate for improved cover seal.

Am I missing something? (Other than the money to do all of this at once.)
