@FireGuy88 before you spend your 3k do your research. Tire size, what kind of tire, 33 looks good heavy, your truck is 2016, with 3.4l engine? Look at how % power lost coz of your tire size. Some people tend to disappoint with power lost. You might not like it after.
Now with shocks bilstein 5100 is just fine. Height adjustable. Kings, fox, icon are over kill if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, I'm running with icon I love them, have no problem them. Just figure out what you want with your truck first, specially if that truck is your daily drive.

Sure I'll bring it out. I'm not doing tds this weekend still need to fix all the small things I did from last weekend. If not I work in sd if we do a meet up.

My buddy has your kit he put some aggressive valving on the shocks. May be a bit stuff on street, but feels amazing on dirt.
He has 1 bleed open, 20 stack compression and 10 stack rebound.

You should go to the prerunner BS or mid travel BS threads and ask questions. Some of those dudes have more technical knowledge about suspension. Deciding between King, Fox and Icon is preference. They are all quality and will improve your ride, and definitely not over kill for suspension.

My first setup was Icon stage II because it included the coil-over, UCA, rear remote res and AAL. It's a good setup for the budget. Depending how you drive you'll see the limitations tho.

The more you drive, the more you'll figure out the direction you want to take your build.

I ran 5100s on my Tacoma and they are shit. Not the shit, shit. I hate those shocks and will never run them on any vehicle of mine ever again. It's such a drastic difference between those and ADS, King, Icon, and Fox. Bilsteins made my fillings fall out of my teeth on washboard roads.
Here is my advice. If you're looking for value, Fox is the cheapest of the big 4. You can get 2.5" Coilovers and 2.0" rear shocks with the remote resis for under 3K. You'd probably be pretty stoked on that as well. Just spray them with anti corrosion spray from Wheelers but you're in Cali so you won't have too much of an issue.

Next up is Icon. Slightly more expensive, better corrosion resistance, stronger body. Similar performance.

Last two are "the best" and their price tag follows that. ADS and King are very similar from what I've heard and similarly priced. My original plan with this rig was an ADS set up. They only make 2.5" so you're going a bit more money than 3k. I think I calculated them out to 3.5k for resi Coilovers and resi rears.

You might have to help me with this... I'm kinda new into the whole suspension thing I know how to get it on but can't adjust it. Lol and all that stuff you just said is like speaking Spanish to a giraffe it doesn't make sense. Any way to dumb that down for me a bit?

If we take the shock apart and add a small part to it, it will float over stuff out in the desert instead of bashing into the ground. That way you don't have to lift it to bro gnar height.

Well that would be cool I figured adjusting the shocks would lift it and make the shocks stiffer? Idk lol what's the part and where do I find it so I can go buy it
