    Using 8watts of power will drain your battery fairly fast from what I hear.

    Fancy says the guys with his own broadcasting station. Two radios like a boss!

    Yeah the radio holds charge good but you can burn through it if its on. The 12V supply is a good to have tho. did your kit come with the larger capacity battery too?
    like the guy with the yellow Ferrari... but all the dope rides are still black:p

    radio to radio it depends on obstructions in between. I heard You can bounce off a repeater like all hams and get far.. we should have no problem

    Don't put it in your MAC!!! The small CDs are designed for the pull out tray style cd drives. If you put it in your mac, it might get stuck and not come out.
