So we are 3rd for the house I put on offer on. Of the two offers ahead of us one is all cash and the other is putting 40% down. I can't compete with either so its a real long shot. I did write a nice letter to the listing agent so maybe that will sway it my way if the seller wants to sell to a family. This is assuming the other two ahead of me don't have families.

Its a long shot but should know one way or the other this week.

Off to Disneyland tomorrow for my daughters 3rd birthday.

:fingerscrossed: Hope it comes through for you man. Patience is usually the key in these situations. When I purchased my home it was a short sale and that usually makes the process much, much longer than a straight up purchase. We had to raise our original offer, but still came out on top after everything was said and done. Got frustrating sometimes with many phone calls and headaches, but stayed patient.

You guys have any encounters with unsafe L.A drivers going to from/work, home etc? Some A-Hole in a Jeep tried to run me off the highway this morning after I merged and tried to go around him. Can't say I'm the only one in L.A who deals with people like this...

Every. Single. Day. Which is why I really want steel front and rear bumpers so when someone eventually hits me, I'll come out unscathed

You sound surprised !? Lol. Get those plate bumpers on your truck, then see if they still want to play bumper cars with you.

Yes, I'm on the 110 south everyday going to Torrance for work and encounter this regularly. It's either those types or the tailgaters when all lanes are clear to the left and right of me, but they insist on "drafting" a higher profile vehicle. Those Jeep guys have something to prove when they're around another high ground clearance vehicle it seems.

I also want to get rear pods as I drive before the sun is up so when people tailgate me, just pop those on and that'll teach em to back off

Coming back down the 101 Sunday, just past Pisbro, some kids in a ranger with a light bar were flashing every car they wanted to pass, in typical douche bag style. So naturally, I get in front of them and go as slow as possible. I have no respect for a ford ranger with no lift and a light bar.

Na, not surprised. Just seeing if other fellow Tacoma members have dealt with the same situations. But I agree, definitely gotta fab up a front tube bumper with frame horns soon!
