Haha, yeah today this was going on the 110 north right before it merges to the 91. Wasn't a typical mall crawler type of Jeep, was one of the fancier ones... Anyway, first time he cut me off and he threw his hands up like I was doing something wrong, then when I played the same game to him by getting in front of him, he tried to play victim and take out his phone to record while driving behind me as he cut over the double yellows onto the carpool lane to get ahead of me. Some people are something else...

 

Also get those front and rear facing dash cameras.

 

Know of any good, but cheap, cams? I would like to get those with how many times I've almost been hit in the last few months going to work

Yeah I got a decent one. It works great for the price. I only got the front for now here it is. How long have you been using it for?

 

I used it for like a week, with the wire hanging out all over the place. The disconnected it, in plan of doing a wire tuck behind the dash and under the headliner. And never got to that lol. This weekend I need to do it. But in the week I used it it worked great it's really nice.

 

Right on man! These things will be a life saver if you're ever in an insurance claim. Gotta snap some photos when you get it all buttoned up.

 

You should remind me to show you my dashcam setup. Don't know if you've seen it yet. Front and rear hardwired to the truck. Automatically turn on when the truck is on and all wiring is hidden. I went super cheap on the dashcams and have a total of about $180 in the whole setup including wiring and mounts. No frills- no GPS, no g-force sensor, no screen. Just two cameras watching my ass.

As far as stupid LA drivers, some times you have to choose your battles. I was merging onto the fwy and the entrance goes from two lanes to one just before the final merge. People are usually pretty good about taking turns, but this one guy in a POS mid-90s Chrysler Sebring with three different color on the body did not want me in front of him. I let him go, no biggie. He clearly didn't give a shit about his car so hitting him would have been a waste. Best part once that once we merged I was able to go to the next lane and go on about my way and he was stuck in that last lane and gave me a dirty look as I passed. I went extra slow to make sure the car behind me caught up and closed the gap too.

 

Nice! Imo, playing games while driving just isn't worth dealing with insurance companies and all that nonsense if it does lead to an accident. But a new dash cam and my tube bumper is definitely in the works just in case.

How did this come about?

 

I conquer all hills in reverse, mainly began doing it because some people we went wheeling with were afraid to go up the big hill in Gorman. So I did it in reverse to punk them in to going up. It worked lol. Not I do hills in reverse for fun
