lose my licence???

I need advice. Here is the situation. Im from nebraska and we have a points system there for driving. You're allowed to get 12 points on your lisence before they pull it. I currently am sitting at 6. Today i got a speeding ticket in wyoming in town (45 in a 30) and a reckless driving ticket for "subject drove left of a double yellow line to pass another vehicle against oncoming traffic at a high rate of speed". However the location where i did pass the vehicle was a dashed line the entire time.

The reckless driving ticket has a must appear in court date.

With these additional tickets i will get an additional 3 points for speeding and 5 points for the reckless driving.... in other words im screwed...

What do i do?

 

Fight it obviously. Did the other vehicle speed up when you tried to pass making it so you had to increase your speed more and thus take longer to pass them putting you on a double yellow after the dashed yellow ran out?

Buy a bike.

you have to take the class before you get the ticket to get the reduction.

? Not all states do this. Otherwise try and get it reduced.

Wait. My ex-gf was pulled over in WY (about 1.5 years ago), and we were told it wasn't a point system state. A quick search in google also showed it saying they don't have a point system. Unless it was a more recent thing (like this year recent).

 

You should not break the law, or man up at accept the consequences if you do. Just my .02

You are partially correct. Wyoming does not have a points system but the do report your tickets to your state, where in my case in nebraska we do have a points system.
