From what I read in the guidance, it said to stand over the fender flare and look down to see if the top of the tread is under the flare. It does look close.

What do you think about this build? Looks good to me. Also, did you have to bolt the trim in or just double sided tape it?

Used the existing bolts that the flare was attached with. The guy told me no tape. I'm thinking this will pass

When my lift gets in and I get tires put on, I'll be sure to update you about my experiences! I guess I should make a build thread :\

Haha he wouldn't even take my 16 for it and he got a mint 85 too still. He's looking for another early 80s to do and getting ready to do a ls swap on this 83

I love that truck.....if I didn't live in a condo with my 2 parking stalls:annoyed: I would definitely find one and restore it. Oh well maybe if I move back to the mainland one day, it will happen

Want too......not really....but the cost of living is so much better and I can still surf (obviously no comparison to here) better schools, better traffic....free shipping ......still not 100% that's the plan but more than likely it will happen at some point

You take this thing off-road yet? Such a sick truck, anxious to hear how the suspension and tires are wheeling.

Mahalo man. Unfortunately on o'ahu there's only one or two public places to go off-roading. Since installing the lift I've went once but nothing crazy so I'm still anxious to get off-road. I'm looking back to move home to big island soon and there's a lot of opportunity to off-road there
