Hey everyone. I'm new here and I have a problem. So I have a 2012 tacoma, v4. So I lose coolant a little faster than normal and it drips from underneath the passenger side, I can't exactly see where it's dripping from. Also it's got a loud muffled sound as I Rev higher ,sounds also coming from underneath the passenger side. I'm not getting white smoke from the exhaust and no milky residue forming around my rad cap or oil cap nor dip stick. Seems to have a little less power as well. So any help on what it could be would be appreciated. Thanks

Can you trace where the leak is?

Could be your water pump, if the leak is up front, maybe just a hose, how many miles does your truck have?

    OP, welcome to the forum!

The white smoke is what caught my attention. This could be very serious if you see this occurring frequently after warmup. It is somewhat common during cold humid mornings though. If it is the former you should get it in and evaluated ASAP.

Dripping from passenger side could be a/c condensation drain

That is what I was thinking also...

Touch it with your finger and taste it. If it is coolant it will be sweet.

Mark,if your truck is a 4 cylinder its an inline 4,if its a V its a V6 brother. Also check your upper radiator hose for leaks, mine was leaking on the passenger side also, and it was the upper hose that is located on the passenger side.
