No offence taken... Ive just always spelled it "knoe" not "knoe"... its kinda like my drunk pinky fingers, its one of the stupid things that kinda makes me me. Just like how i spell it colour not color... but thats cause im Canadian ;)

Id like to think there was a large cause for busted tranny lines. I asked about the cooler being clogged but the stealership said they inspected the everything in restrospct to clogging and said everything flowed smooth.

And as far as your trouble with the truck...I'll see if I can shed some light on things.

As stated, with a lift ( especially a larger one like 6"),it takes a toll on suspension parts. Why didn't you beef up the stuff you replaced ?

I'm thinking this is a result of the engine mount being broken. How long has it been broken ? As you shift,or step on the brakes,or the gas,the engine and transmission will move a little bit. If the engine mount has been broken or weak for a long time it would allow the whole unit to shift more under loads...causing the lines to flex more than intended.

I'm thinking that they're not installed correctly,or they might not have been when you bought it. Did the previous owner treat it well or beat it ?

Again..generally a sacrifice in lifting, especially more than 3" or so.

Added stress from big tires and a large offset will do that. Do you know what the offset is for your wheels ?

Another consequence of a lift/wheeling hard...do you know how the first owner drove it ?

That one...shit happens I guess ? Unless the latch wasn't lubed properly or wasn't working right before hand.I see lots of people that drive with the hood half latched...it's DANGEROUS.

That one's maintenance.Especially in your neck of the woods. Snow and ice...lots of road salt and especially the calcium chloride spray that Canada loves to use. Hell on any metal parts.

This... Everything you're talking about is directly related to the lift. If you're going to do a 6" lift, you have to spend the big buck and do it right. If you don't, you can expect bad things to happen....

Sorry to hear about your issues. However, it sounds to me like you bought a truck that had been beaten like a rented mule AND had a bad lift installed.

Neither of these are your fault per se, nor are they the trucks' fault.

I gotta say im slightly amused by all that comments that its 100 % the lift. Normally, I would agree without question, but seeing how I knoe several other people with a pretty much identical setup as I have who havent even replaced HALF the parts that I have and they spend twice as much time off road, thats why I am perplexed.

Also, sadly as stated in earlier posts, i DID NOT lift the truck, it was lifted when I picked it up. I knoe that I am catching up on a previous owners lack of maintenance and the like. I was in a pinch, needed a lifted truck ASAP, the Tacoma pretty much literally fell on my lap while i was shopping.

Sounds like the fellow that had the truck before you probably beat the hell out of it. Not all of it can be blamed on that, I'm sure, but I think it's got a lot to do with your problems- and the fact that it's lifted probably doesn't help. Best of luck, OP!
