loss of power after head gasket replacement

    Trucks a 97 taco 2.7l (3rz) had 204k when gasket let loose pulled head replaced gasket put back togeather and she runs idles smooth but I noticed the idle sits a little over 1k and also feels like it doesn't have as much power as it used to (and yes I know it's a 4 cyl) doesnt run hot and has no misses just a little loss of power any ideas guys?

    Mid travel, armour all around
    Check ignition timing and vac leaks, thats where i would start, id pull the valve cover put it to tdc and double check the timing marks are lined up correctly
