I’m glad you’re okay OP. It looks terrible, any idea how fast you were going? I’m asking bc I’m impressed that you walked away from that. These tacos seem like they can take a beating protecting the driver and passengers.

Probably about 30mph, no idea how fast the other driver was moving, probably about the same.

When my pro was wrecked, it only had 2400 miles on it. Due to the high $ value of the truck, they tried to tell me the threshold for total loss would be really high.
I suggested that they do the correct thing and total it, because if they didn’t, I’d be filling a diminished value claim. The adjuster seemed surprised. “How do you know what a diminished value claim is?” He asked.
I said, I know stuff. lol.
Don’t accept less than what you pay your premiums for.

PS. I first heard of diminished value claims on TW, another benefit of belonging to a great community!
I didn’t tell him that, because I was enjoying looking smart for a minute.

Go pull as much crap off of it as you can. Get the bed cover and floor mats out minimum. They'll let you grab what you want.

Glad your story has a happy(ish) ending and especially glad everyone walked away.

Finally rejoined the club today. I wanted another quicksand but didn't want to wait for one to be built. I'm happy with the cement though. Just going to take some getting used to.20180321_155900.jpg

Thank God everyone is all right. This is a testament to; design, safety features, and strength of your truck.
Head on is always nasty; you don't just have the impact speed energy of your vehicle against a solid object, you have the combined impact speed energy of both vehicles.
Again; thank God everyone came out of it.

That is a nice truck man, glad things worked out for you and that you are OK.

    I like that color.
