    Dude, great work David! :headbang:

One of these days, I might ask you for a DVD compilation of your TW videos. Something tangible to hang on to :)

Some of your best work to date! I like how you integrate the out of truck shots as well. Really captures the adventure of the trip.

Great vid! The fact that you used multiple angles on different trails is really cool .

Moon rocks looks like a good suspension tester lol

Is it just me, or did at one point of the video, did your tent look like it had shifted on your bed rack a little Will?

Sweet video again, wish I could have joined!

Ohhhhh yes it was heh heh. I told will as soon as he got close and then we had to unload his bed to find the bolts.

Thanks! I appreciate it. It helps having other people's clips so I can add them in to break it up and keep it interesting.

    LOST Corner Trip Report.

We met at a shell station in Packwood. As it turns out Will didn't know how to install lug nuts and Ben needed his beauty sleep, so both were late. Though Will did require a trip to the dealer for a new rotor after his wheel fell of as he was cruising down the road. We all topped off our gas and waited for Ben and Mike at the shell station. Turns out even paying patrons who quietly sit by their trucks are considered hooligans, and were subsequently kicked out. We contemplated returning our gas and partially consumed food in protest.

Ben and Mike show up and we finally hit the road. You know it's going to be a good trip when Ben misses the first turn of the trail heh heh.

Day 1, 2nd leg of the WABDR
    Lost Corner Day 1: http://youtu.be/SXI3N53lYUw

Note how the supercharged 4runner made it up the hill on the second try...
After pretending we were driving in the Dakar the SASd Taco had a slight snafu. The passenger side shock hoop broke at all of the welds. We were able to drive off mountain and found a local welder to fix it up. We also met up with Will at Whistling Jacks, enjoyed a few beers, then headed to camp.

Day 2, Ravens Roost, Funny Rocks, Moon Rocks

    Lost Corner Day 2: http://youtu.be/8eB_TE1HyHk

The trail to Ravens Roost was very fun, and it concluded with an epic Hill climb to the top. The radio towers were dilapidated, antennas falling off, and a crazy guy with a Buick lived in one of the concrete buildings.

Funny Rocks became hilarious when Chris and his stock, yet still very capable, 4runner got stuck on a rock face. The SASd Taco impressed us all as it climbed a nice rock ledge. Then Will does what Will does and impressed us as he made his way down a very technical rock chute. As the sun set we blasted down the forest road with driving lights keeping the darkness at bay. I enjoyed a few take overs at 40mph as well heh heh.

Day 3, Lilly Pond, Manastash Ridge, Tip Over, and one hell of a night of epicness.

    Lost Corner Day 3: http://youtu.be/LvlRw4ZTXrY
youtube muted some audio, so here is a vimeo link
    https://vimeo.com/141700698

This was just supposed to be another day on the trail. We ran Lilly Pond which was awesome, technical, and pushed our skills. We made it up a trail rated most difficult to Manastash Ridge. Per our maps it looked like the Ridge trail just went all the way along the Ridge. Then..... We dead ended on an off camber Ridge line cliff. FML. As we reversed up the trail we kept sliding towards the cliff... Just wow. So Mike guided us back until we could turn around. Then we looked for a trail off the Ridge... The forest fire had erased the trails that were on the map. So we found a trail that looked like it went the right direction and we took it. This was around 9pm on Sunday night. We made it to a trail which crossed the Ridge around 3am. Around 4am we finally made it to a forest service road which would take us to camp. We start jamming down this road.... Then a large void in the road... Brake check... OK it's just a 3 ft deep washout. No problem. We keep jamming and drive around a huge Boulder. Then in the distance the road vanishes. We stop and look. The entire road has been washed away by a stream. FML. We are within a mile of pavement.... And we are not going to turn around and drive another 10 hours....
We see some tire tracks on a very off camber bypass.... With the stream running through it. It is barely wide enough, and at the edge is a 15 foot drop off into the rushing stream below. Well here goes nothing... We all clench tight and navigate the off camber section. We speed off to the end of road only to find it is blocked off with concrete baracades because of run off damage... Well no shit. We think.... Not again.... The road is 50ft beyond the barricade. Then we find a hidden bypass through the woods. We bash through the brush and we are back on pavement.... At 5am. We have been offroad for nearly 20 hours. We are exhausted, dented, dirty, but victorious. We wanted an epic trip and we got it. We were tired, grumpy, and nearly defeated in the early hours of the morning but with a second wind we were able to push on and make it home. The lost Corner lived up to its name because we did get lost and we had one hell of a time.

    More details later!

Ha, thanks for adding that. I under estimated the ol' hill and tried to just walk up it... Turns out it needed a bit more skinny pedal. It's a learning process

Great videos though... Wish I had the patience to do them. Usually I start strong, then end up just speeding up the footage and calling it a day.

    I shouldn't have backed out...

    David, love the videos.

On a wheeling trip with the technical parts like this, I want to bring my wife out and make her drive.

Was that a reference to me? :) Yeah, I bit off a little more than I could chew on that technical section!
