Lost horsepower

    I have a 2005 Tacoma 4x4 3inch lift with 165,000 miles and it seems that the motor has gotten slower or lost horsepower overtime..is there anything I can do to restore some of the power
    I have done spark plugs ,cleaned throttle body and fuel system clean on every other fill up..

    Well my buddy has the same set up on his Tacoma but his is a 2015 with 30,000 miles and his has a lot more power.

    Fuel filter is saturated. Promise. Need to do the fuel pump upgrade from URD, so that you can change out the fuel filter.

    There may also be other issues, but that is certainly one.

    The same could be said about the air filter, and oil filter as well. Toyota USA just made it a whole sellable fuel pump assembly. When all that was necessary was an external filter, such as what the Hilux has.

    and trust me, I used to drink half a gallon of nestle quik at a time back in the day before I got my "vaccines" in basic. Now I cant enjoy eggs or dairy :spy:
